The SA521CN(SA520B) is a Hardwired/Wireless/Photoelectric smoke detector. With the First Alert SA521CN(SA520) you can easily connect the alarm to a network of other smoke alarms through its wireless connection as well as the hardwiring. It works as a bridge unit to connect your existing hardwired alarms and expand with other Onleink Wireless alarms. This 120V AC system can replace any standard fire alarm that is hardwired. You can then expand on your existing hardwired network by Wireless link to any of the other Wireless Interconnect Smoke or CO alarms.

I wirelessly connected three SCO501CN, a CO511B, and SA521CN. The SA521CN was hard-wired to a 3120B in my furnace room. Hitting ‘test’ in the furnace room was heard throughout my house!
The OneLink worked great and the SA521CN worked as a bridge between hard-wired and wireless connections.

This unit (SA521CN) is replacing the same detector. It’s located in a short hallway approximately 10 feet from the kitchen. This unit supports other wireless detectors in the home.
Always have been satisfied with this dectector. Once alerted us to a small smoldering fire in half bath which happened around 3AM.
No one injuries and damage to a minimum.

I ordered 3 hard wired and wireless linked smoke alarms which were very difficult to find that did not have Alexa on them. All three were at a very reasonable price, cam when promised and were very easy to setup and install. They even came with bibs to cover when cleaning, painting or remodeling so no dust and dirt enters into the alarm. Nice touch!
