This adapter plug can be used to more easily replace the Nest Protect Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarm with the newly updated SC5 (SMCO600NV-AC) alarm by BRK First Alert. This adapter isn’t necessary for the installation of the SC5 (SMCO600NV-AC), as each SC5 comes with the necessary wiring harness. However, this will create a plug-n-play connect from the Nest Protect connector to the BRK First Alert SC5 alarm. They are sold in packs of 3.
