    I purchased 3 7010Bs, 1 SC9120B and one 7010BSL to replace old interconnected First Alert/BRK detectors. Mounting rings for the 7010Bs were a little smaller than the old detectors requiring touchup paint in a couple rooms. The 7010BSL and SC9120B were a little larger. All fit existing wall boxes. Wiring harness is the same for all detectors and identical to the old harness making it plug and play. My 11 year old was able to correctly install the detector in his room.

    This device is just what the doctor ordered, I can not hear a alarm, the strobe light is perfect, it is visible from one of the house to the other. should have got one sooner.

    Got a strobe smoke detector to use in our dedicated theater room. While I’m sure we would hear the normal alarm, I wanted the strobe effect as a backup with the dark room/projector. Tested and works well.
