Chimney Sweep

Chimney sweeps are a crucial chore for fireplace owners and should be done at least once a year. Sweeping your chimney decreases the risk of fire, improves the air quality in your home and prevents the build up of flammable byproducts.

Chimneys can get blocked due to different factors, from the buildup of fire byproducts like creosote and soot to leaves, insect nests and tree growth. Timely chimney cleanings ensure proper airflow and remove flammable buildup before it becomes a fire hazard.

Smoke Alert’s chimney sweeps in Wake Forrest are equipped to remove all traces of buildup, debris and other factors that block airflow. They use a power sweep system to thoroughly sweep the chimney’s interior and an industrial high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) vacuum to ensure your fireplace is clean for optimal function.

Our chimney cleanings in Wake Forrest, NC, include:

Elimination of creosote blockage
Clog and obstruction removal
Direct vent or vent-free box gas log service

CERTIFIED CHIMNEY SWEEP

Our CSIA certified sweeps use a power sweep system which is much more powerful than traditional sweeping along with an industrial HEPA vacuum so there is ZERO MESS.

Chimney Inspection

Scheduling regular chimney inspections is the best way to protect your home from fire hazards and fix small issues before they grow into costly repairs. Our team of expert chimney inspectors identifies the components of your chimney to ensure structural integrity and efficient smoke and gas management.

Our Wake Forrest chimney inspections protect the long-term safety of your home. We conduct a comprehensive inspection, paying special attention to components like:

Cap
Flue
Crown
Masonry
Damper
Firebox

I had not used Smoke Alert before today. I’ve had trouble finding qualified technicians willing to come out to work on our Monessen direct vent fireplace. Brandon was excellent and went straight to work. He fixed the issue of the fireplace shutting off and researched what was needed to permanently fix the problem. I’m very happy with the service and had a great experience.

All of my interactions with this company have been excellent. With a family of fire fighters and other public servants, I love that this company is owned and operated by the same people! Charlie was professional, efficient, and provided very helpful information. Thank you so much. Great to have a company you trust.

An amazing experience when I set up a visit to clean my Dryer vent. They announced ahead of time their arrival time so I could corral the dogs, hide the dirty clothes and be ready when they arrived. They were on time and studied the vent issue and quickly cleaned the vent back to its original new condition. As the process was going on Charlie explained the reason for the lent buildup, how to maintain a clean vent and other things required to keep things safe. I was extremely pleased with the service and will keep them on a recurring schedule. Thanks for keeping us safe!
